Her mum Janine has been coming to the Riverside Camping Grounds since the very first Tamworth Country Music Festival.
“Country music’s just been brought up in my blood,” she said.
“My daughter’s been singing for all these years and I love coming and listening to her sing.”
Kirsty thinks there’s nothing more Aussie than Australia Day in Tamworth.
“Walking down Peel Street, you see the buskers there, people walking around with their hats on, their boots on,” she said.
“I love it.”
