YouTube Description

as posted by the channel

A new pilot program in Karratha is using the sport of scuba diving as tool to keep teenagers on the right path in life and to stay in school.

Karratha Police, Clontarf and a local dive company have teamed up for the plan, with hopes it will be expanded beyond Karratha.

Meanwhile in the remote community of Kintore, students are rewarded with swims at the local pool during summer if they go to school.

Billabongs, ocean baths, backyard pools or the local swim centre – The Pool is Australian culture. ABC TV + iview 7:40 pm September 22 & 29. Link ABC TV + iview TBC #abcthepool
