Badimia people have returned to the Murchison region of Western Australia to jointly manage their land of their forefathers.
Their return is part of a State Government move to add more than 100,000 hectares of former pastoral land to conservation reserves in the Murchison.
They feel privileged to protect the cultural sites and Dreamtime stories of their ancestors.
And they’re excited by the opportunities the joint management may offer to the next generation of Badimia people.
