Working for childhood education organisation INOVASI, Sri Widuri saw an opportunity to help disadvantaged kids in her rural province.
Ms Widuri helped turn teachers-in-training into volunteers that visit kids in their homes during the pandemic, becoming a vital education lifeline while schools were closed.
Now it has sparked a long-term change to the university curriculum for primary school teachers in Indonesia.
