The central Queensland man said his life would be “very different” without the bug which has helped him tackle his introverted personality, make new friends, and meet his partner. Mr Boyan – and two fellow like-minded, 20-somethings – are keen to see more young people join the bug community. Kirrily McKie fell in love the the unique vehicles as a six-year-old watching Herbie. James Allen purchased his on a whim at the start of the COVID-19 pandemic. The value of classic and vintage cars continues to rise alongside the soaring used car market.
