Jan receives the 2022 WA Senior Australian of the Year award for her role as president of Grandparents Rearing Grandchildren WA (GRGWA).
GRGWA is a volunteer-run charity providing crucial support and services to grandparent carers. Jan's work with the organisation has helped to provide free legal support, counselling, food bank access and donations like clothing and toys to grandparents and families living in poverty.
