as posted by the channelNearly 50 years ago, Des Goss and his six-year-old son Grant fell so in love with the trains at the Don River Railway that they forgot to pick the rest of the family up from the beach! Grant’s own son, Matt, was born with steam in his blood and now drives trains like his father and grandfather. When Des Goss - who says he is now ‘80 plus’ - isn’t driving or shovelling coal on the train for his grandson, he paints the enormous locomotives and carriages in the sheds. By hand.
