2:26Now PlayingRiley comes from a family of blockies, who farm fruit on irrigated land. Riley’s family grow grapes for wine production, and it’s a generational legacy that started with his great-grandfather. Riley’s great-grandfather was a soldier who settled at Red Cliffs and started growing grapes, something Riley and his dad now do together.
Riley knows a thing or two about grapes and harvesting them. He’s seen hardships like pests, disease and wild weather and when a successful harvest goes through, Riley feeds pride in the work he and his family have done. A lifetime of work from his great-grandfather through to him, nurturing the land and admiring the fruits of their labour.
