Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital apologized for its failure to contain the Ebola virus, which led nurses Amber Vinson and Nina Pham to contract the disease while treating patient Thomas Eric Duncan. Creators of the new guidelines say they learned from working with Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF), a French-founded NGO with decades of experience battling Ebola. MSF's intense procedures include supervised sterilization and removal of gear to make sure nothing touches the skin.
