5:49Now PlayingRep. Devin Nunes, the ranking member of the House Intelligence committee, said that the July 24 hearing featuring former special counsel Robert Mueller is a “spectacle” and “political theater.” Nunes, R-Calif., blamed Democrats for creating a “conspiracy theory” regarding possible connections between the Trump campaign and Russia. “Like the Loch Ness monster, they insist that it’s there, even if no one can find it,” Nunes said. Nunes said the real collusion was between Russia and Democrats. Mueller led an investigation into Russian interference in the 2016 election and possible ties to President Donald Trump’s campaign and detailed his findings in a report released earlier this year.
