Pramila Jayapal, D-Wash., drew a distinction between President Donald Trump’s tweets criticizing the Mueller report and Lewandowski’s testimony to the FBI. Trump called statements in the report “fabricated & totally untrue.” “Did you lie, Mr. Lewandowski, or is he wrong when he says all the people in the report are fabricated?" Jayapal asked. The tweet “says certain people, not all,” Lewandowski replied. Lewandowski was one of the people featured in special counsel Robert Mueller's probe of Russian meddling during the 2016 election, including in Mueller's investigation of possible obstruction of justice by President Donald Trump.
