General Assembly in New York on Sept. 23. Both leaders touted the nations’ economic ties and the progress they said was made during the 2018 summit in Singapore between Trump and North Korea’s Kim Jong Un. Trump also provided a preview of his upcoming address to the General Assembly on Sept. 24, saying he would speak about Iran and the U.S. economy.
