17:44Now PlayingRep. Adam Schiff, the chair of the House Intelligence Committee, said the notes the White House released on President Donald Trump’s call with Ukraine’s president shows Trump tried to elicit a favor in exchange for military aid. “This is how a mafia boss talks,” Schiff said, calling the conversation a “shakedown.” Schiff also criticized the Department of Justice’s legal reasoning for not providing Congress with a whistleblower complaint relating to the phone call. Trump has said there was no pressure put on Ukraine, despite the notes of the call reflecting that he asked the country's president to look into former Vice President Joe Biden and his family.
