In his closing statement, Rep. Devin Nunes, the ranking member of the House Intelligence Committee, said the proceedings have not been "an impeachment inquiry, it's an impeachment inquisition," criticizing Democrats on how they've conducted the hearings, saying they have sought to "gaslight" the country. "It seems at law school these days they're teaching their students a fourth tactic: If the facts and the law are against you, simply rig the game and hope your audience is too stupid to catch your duplicity," he said.
