During a public impeachment hearing on Nov. 21, Rep. Chris Stewart, R-Utah, urged the Senate to call several witnesses in the impeachment probe that did not testify in House hearings. Stewart said witnesses should include the whistleblower whose complaint about a July 25 call between President Donald Trump and Ukraine's president kicked off the impeachment probe. The Senate is expected to take up inquiry if the House of Representatives votes to impeach Trump. When the probe is handed to the Senate, “We will finally be able to get to the truth,” Stewart said. Stewart spoke during the hearing featuring testimony from Fiona Hill, the White House’s former top Russia adviser, and David Holmes, a top staffer at the U.S. Embassy in Ukraine.
