2:26Now PlayingPresident Joe Biden reiterated his belief that he is the "most qualified person" to run against former President Donald Trump in 2024, despite mounting questions from Democrats about his ability to serve.
Speaking to reporters Thursday at the conclusion of the NATO summit in Washington, Biden said "I beat him once and I will beat him again." In the same response, he mistakenly referred to Vice President Kamala Harris as Vice President Trump when discussing her qualifications to be president.
Biden's much-anticipated news conference comes during intense scrutiny of his fitness to stay in the race for the White House after a stumbling debate performance in June.
