6:03Now PlayingHouse Judiciary chair Rep. Jim Jordan, R-Ohio, wrapped up an hourslong hearing Wednesday aimed at questioning FBI Director Christopher Wray about the investigation into the attempted assassination of former President Donald Trump.
Jordan returned to a question of when counter snipers at the July 13 campaign rally in Pennsylvania first set eyes on the would-be assassin. Wray said he would need to check back with the answer.
Earlier this week, the House Oversight Committee grilled Kimberly Cheatle, director of the U.S. Secret Service at the time of the deadly shooting. Members on both sides of the aisle called for her resignation and she announced Tuesday she was stepping down. Cheatle repeatedly referred lawmakers seeking details to the investigation being carried out by the FBI.
