Fighting disease, promoting human rights, addressing climate change, defending freedom and brokering peace were among the priorities he laid out for the crowd.
"That's what Kamala Harris believes, and so do most Americans," he said.
Barack Obama and former first lady Michelle Obama endorsed Vice President Kamala Harris for the top of the ticket in their respective remarks. Harris will formally accept the party's nomination for president Thursday.
