Loeffler, a former chief executive of cryptocurrency trading platform Bakkt and a former co-owner of the WNBA’s Atlanta Dream, appeared before the Senate Committee of Small Business and Entrepreneurship.
As a senator, she supported unsubstantiated claims about the 2020 election results, including a lawsuit seeking to overturn the results. She changed her mind about opposing the election results in Congress after the violent Jan. 6 attack on the Capitol and voted to certify Joe Biden’s win.
