YouTube Description
as posted by the channelSen. Maggie Hassan, D-N.H., questioned Health Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. at a Senate hearing Wednesday about the role of vaccine skeptic David Geier in autism research at the Department of Health and Human Services.
Hassan said Maryland had imposed a $10,000 fine on Geier, who has long pushed a debunked theory linking vaccines to autism, for practicing without a medical license and that he had administered hormone blockers to children with autism. Hassan pressed Kennedy to say what Geier’s job was at HHS.
In response, Kennedy said Geier had been brought in to look at a vaccine safety database maintained by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. Kennedy said he was hired by an independent contractor, not as an HHS employee.
