0:37Now PlayingThe State Department on Wednesday said it's resuming the process to allow foreigners to apply for student visas, but applicants will now have to make their social media accounts public for review, or they could be rejected. The department said its officers will be looking for signs of "hostility toward the citizens, culture, government, institutions, or founding principles of the United States." Last month, the Trump administration temporarily stopped scheduling new interviews for such visas as part of a broader crackdown on overseas students hoping to study in the U.S.
