4:31Now PlayingCecile Richards, the former head of Planned Parenthood, says a new anti-abortion law passed in the state of Georgia is flatly unconstitutional. The so-called “fetal heartbeat law” bans abortions once a fetal heartbeat can be detected — something that typically happens just six weeks into a pregnancy and before many women realize they’re pregnant. "It doesn't just make abortion illegal," says Richards. "It basically would allow women to be convicted and either sentenced to death or to life imprisonment in Georgia."
