2:38Now PlayingDuring last night's explosive Democratic presidential primary debate in Nevada, Amy Klobuchar was asked to account for her failure last week to name the president of Mexico, Andrés Manuel López Obrador, in a Telemundo interview. The Minnesota senator attributed it to "momentary forgetfulness," but the Center for Popular Democracy's Ana María Archila isn't buying it. "We're talking about … the country with whom we have been negotiating border policy, the country from where most immigrants in this country come from," says Archila. "You cannot run for president and not know the basic facts. I understand people forget things in the moment, [but] it did not seem like Senator Klobuchar had much to say about who López Obrador is or what he represents. It also speaks to the lack of attention to international policy, to border policy, to migration policy in all of these debates."
