31:18Now PlayingElementary school librarian Liz Phipps decided to decline Melania Trump’s gift of 10 Dr. Suess books. She had a variety of reasons but the main two were that her school had enough resources already… and the second was that Dr. Suess books have a lot of racism. Who would have thought that a classic children’s book such as The Cat in the Hat could possibly be racist? Racist in a covert way, of course.
Phipps wrote a very long letter to Mrs. Trump and in which she ranted on about white supremacy, immigration policies, and pretty much every other far-left talking point that could be found on Facebook or on some television networks that shall remain nameless. At the end of the letter, she referenced an author who wrote a book about Dr. Suess’s books, and others, having hidden racism in them. She also gave Melania a recommended book list for children.
Her book list was horrific. All of the books featured children but they were not for children at all. Especially not elementary school children. According to some photos from two years ago at the same Cambridge Elementary School where Liz works, she not only teaches either Kindergarten or first grade, she was also a fan of Dr. Suess. Which can be judged from her full Cat in the Hat outfit on while giving a big kool-aid smile. So this person is delivering poisonous, and confusing, ideas to very young children.
It seems as if the librarian was not so much upset about the choice of books, or that her school has too much money to accept gifts, it’s all about anger behind the current administration being in office. Maybe she was one of the people who cried like a newborn baby when Trump got elected. Similar to the trailer for American Horror Story. At the end of the day, all this crazy story represents is the end of the road when it comes to identity politics. Confused people abandoning who they were yesterday in favor of an ideology that leads nowhere.
