11:53Now PlayingPresident Donald Trump delivered remarks at the 72nd United Nations General Assembly in New York City on Tuesday, September 19th of 2017. During the 45-minute long talk, he spoke on many key issues including conflict in Syria, the situation with the North Korean regime, and also the concept of socialism and how it has negatively affected every nation that has tried it - with the most recent nation to suffer being Venezuela.
The mainstream media has hopped on portions of the story that draw the most sensationalism including the moment where he called Kim Jong-un “Rocket Man.” Surprisingly enough, much of the legacy news media will not cover what he said about their regime kidnapping a 13 year old girl from Japan or the death of American student Otto Warmbier. Nor will legacy media touch the portion of his speech were he railed against socialism.
