11:25Now PlayingEver since Donald Trump has been elected President of the United States, a certain sub section of the country has been unable to get over it. They had their wagons hitched up to the hope of a Hillary Clinton Presidency and when that did not pan out, those people were never able to recover. Mainstream US media finds themselves in the same boat as the average Hillary Clinton voter who has not been able to get over it since they had emotion AND money invested into her.
So you have much of the mainstream media being upset at Trump as well as a large portion of civilian society. As a result, a toxic combination was born and has bred nothing but hatred. Enemies have been named by the anti-Trump crowd and #1 on that list is the Russian Federation led by Vladimir Putin. They view him as a dictator of an evil country that wants nothing more than to see the obliteration of the United States of America. Crazy, hair-brained schemes have been dreamed up by the mainstream media and fed to the general public, many of whom want nothing more than a boogeyman to blame Trump’s Presidency on.
Stories of election interference by means of Twitter and Facebook ads/posts dominate the news. People who want to believe those constant, daily stories will do so. A majority of Americans have cell phones and many of them also have social media. When they run into a Trump voter on social media and get into a confrontation, sometimes the person is labeled as a “Russian bot” because that’s what the mainstream media has been beating into their head for the better part of two years now.
I’m just here to clear the air. I am NOT a Russian bot! And I think your regular, everyday American citizen who voted Trump, all 60+ million of us, are not bots either.
