as posted by the channelRep. Ilhan Omar has tied the knot again. The Minnesota Democrat announced on Instagram Wednesday night that she’d remarried, apparently to the political consultant she allegedly had an affair with.
Tim Mynett is the same man that many have accused the freshman congressman of having an affair with, while still married to her now-ex husband Ahmed Hirsi. There are also allegations of criminal activity with Mynett. He is or at least, was, a former vendor for Omar.
She gave him close to $300k in money from her campaign for things like consulting. Theory is that she is embezzling campaign money through him. Marriage may legal way to protect her since married couples don't have to testify against one another.
