God’s ways are higher than ours. He knows the bigger picture that we will never quite understand with our human understanding. His mind is more on eternity than most people who are focused on temporary gratifications and ambitions. God CORRECTS & DISCIPLINES those He loves. A parent doesn’t want to discipline their child, but at times, the discipline is the only thing that causes the child to have respect for the parent and turn away from their path of destruction. Out of God’s love for His children He allows pain and tragedy to occur at times when repentance has not taken place. We have the option to walk in the fear of God and holiness without God’s intervention of discipline. But if we do not take God seriously, He will allow things to happen so that our eyes open up to see that He is worthy of reverence; we must live in the fear of God and follow Him wholeheartedly. This is the year of acceptance: it’s time to accept Jesus. It is the year God has appointed for people to be saved and follow Him in a greater way than previous years! God is instilling the fear of God so people may wake up, follow Him and surrender their whole lives to Him. God is speaking to those who do not follow Him that it is time now to repent and turn to Him. He is also speaking to the lukewarm and those who have not accepted His move (His power, deliverance, fivefold ministry, apostles, prophets, servants He has raised up as leaders): it is also time to repent. It is time to surrender fully and accept ALL of Him which includes His move; His power to deliver and heal.
