Everything connected to the technology visible in the MH370 footage was systematically defunded. Someone chose to bury functional fusion propulsion.

You can follow a research thread from 1960s fusion weapon development through magnetohydrodynamic propulsion and air breathing engines, straight to 2014 when plasma orbs materialized around MH370. The papers exist. Hypersonic MHD systems, direct energy conversion, magnetic mirror confinement, aneutronic fusion drives. It's all published and accessible.
Some ask why this would be deployed on a passenger aircraft. The assumption is flawed. Large scale demonstrations don't happen first.
