Indiana v Richard Allen

Richard M. Allen, 52, is currently on trial in Carroll County, Indiana, charged with 2 counts of m*rder in the deaths of Abigail Williams, 13, and Liberty (Libby) German, 14, who were last seen hiking near the Monon High Bridge in Delphi, Indiana on 2/13/17. Their bodies were discovered on 2/14/17. Allen was not arrested until October of 2022, more than 5 years after the girls' deaths. The case has been shrouded in secrecy, from gag orders to closed hearings, and very little has been known about the evidence, the crime scene and cause and manners of death, until now. In September of 2023, the Defense filed a 138 page Memorandum in Support of the Accused's Motion for Franks Hearing, which set forth, in painstaking detail, several other suspects considered (and cleared?) by LE in this case along with its theory (also believed by the FBI/initial LE) that the k1llings may have been ritualistic in nature. During trial, the motion was renewed twice, Motion to Admit Evidence of Odinism/Norse Paganism/Ritualistic Killing on 10/23/24 and on 10/30/24 as The Accused’s Second Motion to Admit Evidence of Odinism/Norse Paganism/Ritualistic Killing and Also Motion to Admit Evidence Concerning Elvis Fields and Brad Holder as Third-Party Suspects ~ arguing that State witnesses had opened the door. Judge Gull denied the motions on November 1, 2024, at the end of the first day of Defense's case in chief.
