Eddie Orobitg, a Leesburg Dentist, was golfing with his son at the Harbor Hills Country Club in Lady Lake, Florida, when he came upon Dr. Joe Sivak & his wife walking on the cart path. According to the police report, Orobitg confronted Sivak (who was not golfing) about walking on the path and a melee ensued when Orobitg spat in Sivak's face, and then began to beat him with a golf club, causing Sivak to sustain severe injuries. Orobitg is charged with felony aggravated battery and claims self defense under Florida's Stand Your Ground Law.
