It will be the second race of the series’ 17-event schedule. COTA is believed to have signed a five-year contract with IndyCar. The IndyCar race will join Formula One, MotoGP, World Rallycross and the Pirelli World Challenge in showcasing Circuit of the Americas. Next year’s IndyCar Series schedule begins March 10 with a street race in St. Petersburg, Fla.
