YouTube Description
as posted by the channelAs workers urged City Council to pass a resolution asking Google to negotiate with Youtube Music employees, they were told their contract was over.
The move came after the group was hopeful that Austin City Council might be able to help urge their tech giant employers to come to the bargaining table and negotiate. But a year of tension that included a strike, a unionization vote, a return-to-office and National Labor Relations Board disputes, all came to a head when tech staffing agency Cognizant held a meeting in their Austin office informing dozens of workers that their employment contract had ended.
