as posted by the channelA Tesla Cybertruck exploded outside the Las Vegas Trump hotel, killing one person and injuring another seven, according to Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department Sheriff Kevin McMahill.
"There does not appear to be any further threat to our community here now," McMahill said.
The explosion occurred about 10 hours after a truck drove into a crowd on Bourbon Street in New Orleans, killing 10 people and injuring at least 30 more.
"We're very well aware of what has happened in New Orleans with the event that occurred there, and the number of victims there and the additional IEDs. So as you can imagine, with an explosion here on iconic Las Vegas Boulevard, we are taking all of the precautions that we need to take to keep our community safe," McMahill said.
