7:15Now PlayingBrian Rix was a famed actor and record-breaking producer of stage plays - particularly at London's Whitehall Theatre.
Rix and his family lived beside Richmond Park in London, and in 1977 he entertained Valerie Singleton in his garden.
He spoke about his work, how the garden has evolved since he bought it back in 1958, and his passion from planting trees - much to the chagrin of his wife, Elspet Gray, who was more keen on flowers.
