4:11Now PlayingPeter Macann presents an item on 3D TV. The system is being developed at the Univerity of Leeds, and works by displaying two slightly different images on alternate lines of the television screen. Ingeniously these images are then separated for the viewer using glasses with liquid crystal and polaroid lenses, which filter the different images so the right eye only sees one image and the left eye sees the other.
