Kadjyre Kayapo is an indigenous leader. He's searching for signs of trespassing and says he'll do what he can to protect his people's land.
"When I came here there were invaders, loggers, prospectors. I founded the Krimej village to preserve the forest to not allow the loggers to get into (the indigenous land) because I'm preserving the indigenous land," says Kayapo, leader of the Krimej village.

"Today we have problems with farmers moving forward their fence inside the indigenous land, we have problems with the lack of inspection from the environment agencies," says Paulo Roberto Azevedo Junior of Instituto Kabu.
Much of the deforestation in the Brazilian Amazon is done illegally.
Land grabbers slash-and-burn to clear forests for agriculture and loggers encroach on national forests and indigenous land.
