The nurses can be seen standing in formation wearing face masks and scrubs.
“Working in an ICU we are faced with life and death every day and are dedicated to saving as many lives as possible, but I would be lying if I said I wasn’t scared,” a nurse, identified as Sarajane Hall, says in the video.
“We are all here. We are strong and united and will not give up in the fight to save lives,” she adds, before urging people to stay home and donate any personal protective equipment they have to local hospitals. Hall says they were allocated only one mask per day due to a shortage.
“We all have a part to play in flattening the curve,” she says. “We are begging you to do yours so we can do ours.”
