At a "Workers for Trump" campaign event in the swing state, Pence said the administration supported peaceful protests, adding "rioting and looting is not peaceful protest."
"Burning businesses is not free speech. And those who do so will be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law," Pence said.
The vice president urged workers across the country to vote for Trump in the forthcoming presidential election in November to secure jobs and economic recovery following the pandemic.
