1:01Now PlayingContainment of the Glass Fire grew to 30 percent on Monday, October 5, as the blaze continued to scorch thousands of acres in California’s Napa and Sonoma counties, fire officials said.
The California Department of Forestry and Fire Protection (Cal Fire) said the Glass Fire burned 65,580 acres as of Monday morning. Hundreds of homes have been destroyed by the inferno, according to Cal Fire.
Cal Fire said this video shows the VLAT (Very Large Air Tanker) dropping fire retardant over Robert Louis Stevenson State Park in Napa County.
