White House Chief of Staff Mark Meadows said President Donald Trump continued to improve overnight and is ready to return to a normal schedule. New Jersey’s governor said Trump should have canceled his fundraiser in the state Thursday.
Trump has been at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center since Friday, after announcing that he had been infected with Covid-19. Meadows said Monday morning the White House was “optimistic” Trump will be released, but the decision won’t be made until later in the day.
