Former President Barack Obama made his first in-person campaign pitch Wednesday for his former vice president, Joe Biden, urging voters in Philadelphia not to sit out the election and risk reelecting President Donald Trump.

Speaking at a drive in car rally shortly after he held a roundtable with community organizers, Obama made fun of Trump for telling a rally in Erie, Pennsylvania Tuesday night that he didn't think he'd have to come there.

"Apparently he complained about having to travel here," Obama said. "I don't feel that way. I love coming to Pennsylvania," he said to cheers.

"You guys delivered for me twice and I am back here tonight to ask you to deliver the White House for Joe Biden and Kamala Harris," Obama added.

Four years ago, Obama delivered Hillary Clinton’s closing argument in the same city - at a rally for thousands the night before Election Day on Independence Mall.

Obama also took on Trump's handling of the presidency.

"He hasn't shown any interest in doing the work or helping anybody but himself and his friends," Obama said. "This is not a reality show. This is reality, and the rest of us have had to live with the consequences of him proving himself incapable of taking the job seriously."

The former president also went after Trump following recent reports of a Chinese bank account.

"Can you imagine if I had a secret Chinese bank account when I was running for re-election? You think Fox News would have been a little concerned about that? They would have called me Beijing Barry," he said.
