Chinese officials have not yet finalized permission to allow WHO-appointed experts to enter the country even as some of them embarked on travel, said WHO Director-General Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus in a briefing on Tuesday. The delay comes despite months of negotiation and planning between Chinese officials and the 10-member expert team.

UNITED STATES: President Donald Trump will address protesters calling for the overturn of his electoral loss to Joe Biden during an in-person speech at a park just south of the White House on Wednesday, according to a White House official.

Police said they had swept up about 50 people in the Wednesday operation. Those arrested included several prominent former lawmakers and allegations centered on an informal primary that drew more than 600,000 voters in July to choose candidates for a September legislative election that was subsequently postponed by the government.
