2:17Now PlayingHouse impeachment managers wrapped up their case against former President Donald Trump Thursday afternoon asking, "what is impeachable conduct, if not this?"
Lead House manager Rep. Jamie Raskin issued that question to the Senate witnesses, saying, "if you don't find this a high crime and misdemeanor today, you have set a new terrible standard for presidential misconduct in the United States of America."
Rep. Joe Neguse from Colorado said, "the evidence is clear." "President Trump incited an insurrection, an insurrection that he alone had the power to stop," he said.
Neguse urged lawmakers to consider the hours of evidence presented in the House's case, including videos, audio, statements, affidavits, and to take their Constitutional duty seriously.
"We humbly, humbly ask you to convict President Trump for the crime for which he is overwhelmingly guilty of," he said.
"Because if you don't, if we pretend this didn't happen or worse, if we let it go unanswered, who's to say it won't happen again?" Neguse asked the Senate.
