0:29Now PlayingRussian President Vladimir Putin on Monday said some 80,000 mobilised reservists have been deployed to Ukraine, out of over 300,000 called up since September 21st, but that only 50,000 of them are in "combat units."
"We now have about 50,000 in combat units while the rest are not yet taking part in hostilities", said Putin at a meeting with Tver region governor, Igor Rudenya.
"There are up to 80,000 in the zone. The rest are all just at training grounds," he added.
Putin also said that issues related to the mobilisation should be discussed with other heads of regions.
"I ask you, too, to then generalise and discuss this with other heads of regions so that there is an array of material and issues that need to be addressed," Putin said at the meeting.
