as posted by the channelRussian President Vladimir Putin once again accused Western countries on Wednesday of undermining the grain deal that had allowed the export of Ukrainian grain until Russia halted it on Monday.
Speaking at a meeting with the cabinet, Putin said the West failed to fulfil Russia's conditions for the deal.
"No one was going to fulfil any obligations and agreements," he said. "But they have been constantly demanding something from Russia, to do one thing, then another, provide one thing and another."
Russia on Monday halted the breakthrough deal that allowed grain to flow from Ukraine to countries in Africa, the Middle East and Asia where hunger is a growing threat and high food prices have pushed more people into poverty.
Putin said Russia will resume the Black Sea Grain Initiative if its demands to get Russian food and fertiliser to the world are met.
"What we need is not some promises and some ideas on this matter, we need these conditions to be met," he said.
