as posted by the channelAt least 21 people died when a bus carrying tourists fell off a bridge near Venice late Tuesday, according to the regional governor.
The bus caught fire after falling off an overpass near the Mestre railway station on the mainland across from Venice. The people killed were from several different countries, Luca Zaia, the governor of the region, said on Facebook.
The bus was carrying tourists from a camp resort in the area, Zaia said, adding that at least 20 were seriously injured. Two children are among the dead, newswire Ansa reported.
