as posted by the channel

Ousted Venezuela President Nicolás Maduro pleaded not guilty to US charges in a narco-terrorism case against him, saying "I am innocent" and "I am not guilty."

Maduro and his wife, Cilia Flores, were arraigned in a Manhattan courthouse, with Maduro facing four counts and Flores facing three charges, and both were denied bail.

Maduro's lawyer, Barry Pollack, said he expects to file "voluminous and complicated" legal filings, including a claim that Maduro is immune from prosecution as the leader of a sovereign nation.
