“I think you’ll see it’s going to be a short term excursion,” Trump told Republican lawmakers Monday at his resort in Doral, Florida.
His remarks came just hours after the president told CBS News he believed the war was “very complete, pretty much,” and underscored a new willingness by the White House to publicly indicate that it could be moving soon to attempt to wrap up the conflict.
“They have no navy, no communications, they’ve got no air force,” he said of Iran.
