Trump suggested “a little bit of a ceasefire” in the Ukrainian conflict to Putin, while the Kremlin said Putin offered a temporary truce for the annual celebration of the World War II victory over Nazi Germany.
The phone call between Trump and Putin focused mainly on Iran, with Russia offering some proposals to help resolve the conflict over Tehran’s nuclear program, according to Kremlin foreign policy aide Yuri Ushakov.
